Wedding Invite Set

Using the wedding location and a few words from the bride as inspiration, a complete wedding stationery set was created using the existing wedding colours. The stationery design process began with the crest design using the couples' first initials and the initial of their new surname. From there, the wedding stationery set expanded to include the invite with bespoke pattern featured on the back and the corresponding envelope with a wrap-around label, rsvp card and corresponding envelope. All items were letterpressed and incorporated elements of their bespoke pattern.

Once the invitation set was complete, the various design elements were then carried throughout the wedding collateral so to have a cohesive look and feel. The couples' crest, along with colour and decorative elements, were used on the order of service, table menus, seating cards, table numbers, bar signs and candy bar signs.

Save the Date

A crest was designed using the couples' initials, which then was used throughout the wedding collateral.

Using letterpress technique, Victorian motifs and the use of silhouettes as inspiration, modern flairs such as the font choice and colour choice resulted in the antique modern effect of this wedding invite set.

The invite set inspired the entire design of the wedding, carrying the bespoke black and white pattern through to the hand-stitched programs to the custom table runner to the guest book. The silhouettes donned guests' drinks in the form of drink flags and sometimes accessories.
