Rosy rapture

We were called upon by Brides Magazine to create a wedding invitation suite with a punch. The use of pink, cream and black was the focus, along with playful and bold elements to allow this invitation suite to stand out from the norm. Playful stripes, whimsical borders and typographic elements were incorporated across the invitation, menus, place cards and monogramed flags. The March/April issue is finally out and we were so excited to see the various designs scattered along the pages. Have a peek for yourself...

Love is in the air

Spread the love this Valentine’s Day with a hand-written message. As much as we love our digital necessities, sending a V-Day message via text just doesn’t have the same feel. Pen your lovely messages on the Valentine’s Collection and send them via snail mail. After all, a lovely card might just replace the flowers you forgot to send. Enter BEMINE at checkout for free shipping.

Fancy way to start the week

Crawling out of bed on a dark, gray Monday can be a difficult task. Luckily, waking up to a feature on the lovely blog {what you fancy} has made that task bearable. Have a peek to get your Monday going...

Save the Date

Incorporating elements of both the Bride-and-Groom-to-be's heritage, this unique Save the Date was created. The design featured a Jewish star surrounded by Henna-like paisley patterns to symbolize the meshing of cultures. The use of blue and gold was a brief introduction to the overall look and feel of the upcoming wedding. Stay tuned for the wedding invitations to follow soon!

Down Under designs

As we prepare to head back to the real world and leave our time in Australia behind, we wanted to celebrate the fabulous bits of design we’ve been lucky enough to be surrounded by during our travels. From restaurant graphics to colourful street art and installations, inspiration seemed to be around every turn. Bright colours and lovely textures filled the streets and adorned city walls to create vibrant visuals throughout. With so many beauties to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down to a select few.

Night moves in Melbourne

The Night Market at Queen Victoria Market was one of our first stops in Melbourne and it was a great introduction to the textures and style of this artful city. Featuring foods from every area of the world, the market is the perfect spot to sample various bites and sips, including local loves. The sounds bellowing from two stages kept us buzzing around the market, checking out the stalls full of handmade goods. Have a peek at a few faves...

Our favourite things

When asked what inspires R+J, it's hard to narrow the answer to just a few blabbering paragraphs. When asked by This is your Kingdom what inspires us locally in London, the task was slightly more difficult to choose a select few inspiring elements. Have a read here.

Well read in Oz

A wander into a local bookshop has left us inspired and seriously lusting after Australian magazines. In addition to the beautiful sights and scenes of Australia, the pages of its magazines are just as visually stimulating. Our London-bound bags will be a bit heavier carrying as many lovely publications as we can!

Waking up to a feature in London' s Daily Mail on Monday 3rd January was such a lovely way to kick off the new year. Have a peek at the online feature...

Yellow and white alert

Just a short while into our Aussie holiday and we've found the perfect spot while visiting the Ivy bar in Sydney. It was love at first sight once realised we share a passion for stripes and appreciation for a yellow and white colour scheme. Between the lovely food, delicious drinks and beautiful decor, we are finding it hard not to return here on a daily basis! Be sure to check out the Ivy if you are in the area.

Happy New Year!

After all of the Holiday greetings have been designed, printed, delivered and sent off to family and friends, R+J is looking forward to a relaxing post-Christmas sunny holiday down under. Even the cat is exhausted! Wishing everyone a healthy, happy and loving new year (full of beautiful stationery, of course!) See you soon!
