Featuring the all important wedding date as the focus, this letterpressed Save the Date also included accommodation suggestions for friends and family. A graphic punch of colour to start the New Year.
Incorporating elements of both the Bride-and-Groom-to-be's heritage, this unique Save the Date was created. The design featured a Jewish star surrounded by Henna-like paisley patterns to symbolize the meshing of cultures. The use of blue and gold was a brief introduction to the overall look and feel of the upcoming wedding. Stay tuned for the wedding invitations to follow soon!
Letterpress: Coeur Noir Using letterpress technique, Victorian motifs and the use of silhouettes as inspiration, modern flairs such as the font choice and colour choice resulted in the antique modern effect of this wedding invite set. Photos: Barnaby Draper Studios
The invite set inspired the entire design of the wedding, carrying the bespoke black and white pattern through to the hand-stitched programs to the custom table runner to the guest book. The silhouettes donned guests' drinks in the form of drink flags and sometimes accessories.
